West Hollywood, referred to by locals as WeHo, is its own municipality being served by the LA County Sheriff and City of WeHo fire and trash.  WeHo is at the cultural and geographical heart of Los Angeles County. It spans just under 2 square miles and was formed largely from the unincorporated area of the Los Angeles area that had not joined one of the surrounding cities. WeHo is bound between the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, the Cities of Hollywood and Beverly Hills, and the districts of Fairfax and Beverly Grove. The school system is part of LA Unified and West Hollywood Elementary and Larchmont Charter are both highly regarded schools. There are 9,615 Single Family Homes and 14,618 condos and 1,026 multi-family properties. SFR ranges from 453 to 30,000 SF.
